Who is Ligaya?

Ligaya Lange is a Mental Health consultant who specializes in workplace mental health and employee wellness. She is the Founder and CEO of Ligaya Wellness, LLC- and former Director of Corporate Outreach at the National Alliance on Mental Illness –  Greater Los Angeles County (NAMI GLAC).  She has partnered with organizations across industries to strengthen communication, reduce stigma, and support employees through challenges like anxiety, burnout, and organizational change.
 
Her work is informed by 15 years in corporate roles at Twentieth Century Fox Studio, The Walt Disney Company, and a “Big Four” consulting firm, as well as her lived experience with Anxiety and Perinatal Illness- Postpartum Anxiety and OCD. Ligaya holds degrees from UC Berkeley and USC, is a certified Peer Support Specialist, and maintains multiple additional mental health certifications. She also hosts Let’s Get Mental, a podcast focused on her lived experience, mental health education and empowerment.

The goal of comprehensive programming is to provide foundational mental health education, normalize conversations around mental health, and reduce stigma—while delivering ongoing, data-driven wellness programming tailored to each industry’s specific needs. I work closely with leadership teams to implement strategies and best practices that support employee mental health and foster psychologically safe work environments.

Continuous Mental Health Education & Support Programming

A multi-month program tailored to the specific needs of your employees. Designed by quarter, programming starts at 3 months, and may last up to a year. For companies with higher turnover or those seeking to support contract employees who “roll” on and off projects, programming may be ongoing.

The goal of more comprehensive programming is to deeply educate employees on mental health and wellness, tailor to their specific needs (programs are data driven- inquire), work to significantly decrease the stigma surrounding mental health, normalize conversation, and I work with leadership to implement best practices for their employees’ mental health.

At Ligaya Wellness, I believe mental health and emotional wellbeing are foundational to how we live, work, lead, and connect with others.
 
When our mental health suffers, our physical health, relationships, productivity, and overall quality of life are impacted as well. And given how much of our lives are spent working—whether in an office, on a job site, or at home balancing careers, caregiving, and daily responsibilities—supporting mental wellness can no longer be treated as optional.
 
Our understanding of mental health continues to evolve, and the purpose of the Ligaya Wellness blog is to provide thoughtful, practical, and accessible insight into the topics that matter most—primarily workplace mental health, work-life balance, burnout prevention, and navigating access to care within an often complex mental health system.
 
As my clients quickly learn, my approach is direct, relatable, grounded in common sense, and occasionally infused with humor. While mental health is nuanced and deeply personal, I believe practical tools, honest conversations, and early intervention matter. I want people to feel empowered to advocate for themselves, prioritize preventative care, and access support before reaching a crisis point.
 
Through storytelling, real-world perspectives, lived experiences, emerging trends, and data-driven insights, my goal is for this blog to be a meaningful and useful resource—not just professionally, but personally as well.
